I know, it’s been quite a while. Here’s what’s been happening.
- First of all, I *have not* stopped mixing! Quite the opposite. Currently I only have access to laptop based DJing (though it emulates a Xone:92 so I have been playing with 4 Band EQ mixing).
- Second, I am currently living in Gothenburg, Sweden. I have been meeting several DJs and Producers in Europe and gaining a new perspective on mixing and producing. I am currently learning to produce, and soon will have quite a bit more time to play around with my keyboard. Also, I have been going to several huge european trance events (eg, Trance Energy) and this has been influencing my direction as a DJ.
- Third, Trancend will return! I am planning a new demo and probably a name change when I return to Australia. I aim to get bigger in the Brisbane dance scene and start fresh.
Stay tuned, I will post again in a few months time. In the mean time, you can listen to my September Demo still because I think it is my best work today and a true reflection of my live style.

Good to hear you are still mixing, sounds like you are having a great time there and making good connections. Soo jealous of all the awesome events you have access to over there.
Someday I will make it over to Europe. The USA is slowly coming to understand electronic music, but certainly not fast enough for me! Eagerly awaiting the return of Trancend, whatever styles you choose to pursue in the future.
